Questions, answered.
The things guests ask most, across all three Southport properties. Still stuck? The local team is a call or email away.
Why book direct rather than through a travel site?
Booking direct means you deal with the Southport team who actually run the rooms — not a third-party call centre — and it is the best way to get our own rates and flexibility. Any question about your stay comes straight to us.
Is it safe to pay on this site?
Yes. Availability, rates and payment run through Cloudbeds, the secure reservation system our properties operate on. What you see at checkout is exactly what applies.
Can I change or cancel a booking?
Cancellation and change terms depend on the rate you book and are shown clearly at checkout. Flexible rates can be changed up to the stated deadline; the earlier you contact us, the more we can do to help.
Do you take group or company bookings?
Yes — for multiple rooms, corporate accounts or longer projects we handle it directly, often across more than one property. See our Group and Contractor & Corporate pages, or just get in touch.
What are check-in and check-out times?
Standard check-in and check-out times are confirmed with your booking. Early check-in or late check-out can sometimes be arranged — ask the team and we will do our best.
What is the difference between the three properties?
The Meridian is our design-led boutique hotel; The Seacroft is self-contained apartments with full kitchens for longer stays; The Marlowe is comfortable, well-priced rooms. One team looks after all three.
Do the apartments have kitchens?
Yes — every apartment at The Seacroft has a proper kitchen, not just a kettle and microwave, which makes them well suited to families, working weeks and longer stays.
Is parking available?
Parking arrangements vary by property and by central Southport location. Tell us your dates and vehicle and we will confirm the options before you arrive.
Where in Southport are you?
All three properties sit in central Southport, within easy reach of Lord Street, the seafront and the pier, and a short drive from England’s Golf Coast including Royal Birkdale.
How do I get to Southport by train?
Southport has direct rail links to Liverpool and connections across the wider North West, with the station a short trip from all three properties.
How far is Royal Birkdale for The Open 2026?
Royal Birkdale (PR8 2LX) is roughly two miles from central Southport. During Open week (16–19 July 2026) park-and-ride and shuttle services run to the course — see our The Open 2026 page.
Do you offer weekly or longer-stay rates?
Yes. The Seacroft apartments have rates that step down for weekly and multi-night stays, built for relocations, working weeks and extended trips. See the Longer-Stay Apartments page.
Can you invoice a company?
For corporate and contractor bookings we can bill to a company account on a single, simple invoice, with one named local contact for the booking.
Are pets or accessible rooms available?
Requirements like accessibility, ground-floor rooms or pets vary by property. Contact the team with what you need and we will tell you straight away what fits across the group.
